I have put together a 12 part class to provide all of the basic information you need to grow better vegetables. The course is designed for both beginner and intermediate gardeners and is offered free on YouTube.
I have been gardening my whole life and have a science background. Besides writing and speaking about gardening, I own and operate a 6 acre private garden called Aspen Grove Gardens which now has over 3,000 perennials, grasses, shrubs and trees. Yes--I am a plantaholic!

I realy appreciate your content. I am still trying to learn the basics between my 4 kids and job and everything else!!! I have one question, all of my zucchini and squash have started to “rot” right where they come out ofnthe ground. They are all producing almost ready to pick. The same thing happened last year except it seemed to happen later (although i was late getting the garden in). I am in central/west ohio and tilled in malorginte fertalizer and horse manure into my garden. Any idea as to the cause or if there is anythinf i can do at this point to save my plants?

Too wet? did an insect chew the stem at ground level?
